Help map who promotes which brands
Followpie's data comes from influencers' own public, legally-required disclosures — never scraping. You can add what you've seen, correct what's wrong, and find the influencers you follow. Every submission is reviewed by a human before it counts.
How we collect the data
- 1We read disclosed partnerships
The signal is the influencer's own mandatory disclosure: the Paid partnership label, tags like #ad / #spolupráce / #sponsored, or a tagged brand. We read what they publicly declare — we don't infer or scrape.
- 2Sampled, not guessed
Per influencer we sample ~40 recent public posts and count in what share each brand appears. That share becomes the frequency used in the attention model.
- 3A classifier assists, a human decides
A text classifier reads a pasted caption and proposes the brand + disclosure type + a confidence. It never publishes on its own — a person reviews and approves every record.
- 4Confidence, not accusations
Each influencer–brand pair carries a confidence (high / medium / low). We publish descriptions of data (“brand appears in X% of posts”), never causal claims like “X is paid by Y”.
We process only zero-party data (what you or the influencer voluntarily provide) and public disclosures the influencer is legally required to make. No Instagram login, no passwords, no scraping against platform terms. Submissions store the classification only — not your pasted text.
Verifying from the brand's side (and the spend)
A partnership is only as good as its proof. We cross-check every record against sources on the advertiser's side — so it's not just the creator's word — and grade it by a verification tier. Spend is at least partially traceable:
- 1Meta Ad Library — filter by brand
Meta's public Ad Library lists all branded content with a Paid partnership label. You can filter by a brand to reveal which creators it partners with (and vice-versa). From 2026 Meta requires the Partnership Ads format for all paid creator content, so coverage keeps growing. This is two-sided, verifiable proof.
- 2Google Ads Transparency — payer name
Google's Ads Transparency Center shows who paid for an ad (payer name), a second independent source for who is actually funding a campaign.
- 3The brand's own announcements
Official ambassador press releases and the brand's own posts tagging the creator are the strongest tier — the advertiser publicly confirms the relationship itself.
- 4Marketing spend, partially traceable
Full per-post spend isn't public for commercial ads (Meta only discloses spend for political/social-issue ads). We triangulate: (a) directly disclosed partnership ads in the Ad Library, (b) aggregate marketing spend in listed companies' annual reports, and (c) an order-of-magnitude estimate = followers × niche CPM. We publish the tier, not a fabricated number.
Each partnership carries a tier: brand-announced › paid-partnership label › Ad Library › disclosed content › community report › estimate. Higher tier = stronger proof, higher confidence.
